Contest $50 Logo Contest

Hey all. I posted a contest for a client of mine and was really loving the logos, so I decided that I would run my own contest.

I am re-designing my website and would love for you to be a part of the re-branding of the logo. I want something that has a new feel to it, it's so "simple" and boring looking like the current one.

I'd like for the color scheme to stay similar so that it matches with the site, but you are welcome to use your creativity to do as you wish. The website is all about information/recipes/tips/guides on the ketogenic diet. This is a low-carb diet, which is mostly centered around fat. Meat, eggs, cheese, etc. Though, I prefer to keep food out of the logo (I just wanted to give you an idea if you can find an idea from that).

The site focuses around diet and nutrition, but not in the conventional sense - so if you want to riff off of that, be my guest. As for ideas - I don't have too many. I just want something that will look good and that I can continue using as I grow my website/business.

I'm looking for something that looks clean and is relatively flat. Something that will fit in.

The logo must be able to fit into a 200 x 50 size with everything readable. This will be the size I need it to be for the menu on the site. I'd also like a larger version where you can either keep it the same or re-position text to brand over my photos that I take of the recipes.

The logo will be going over #f2f2f3 or #ffffff background - so make sure you use the colors appropriately so they can be read.

Website name: ruled.me
Color specifications: Up to you as long as it fits in with the re-designed theme.
Style specifications: Clean and flat - but you have some customization you can make as a designer. As long as I like it, you're golden!
Size specifications: 1 version must be able to fit into a 200x50 size space, and 1 full res version upon payment.

I will give feedback on all entries if they are viable.

@Gladiator_28 Sorry mate but I don't like this so much. I don't feel as though it will fit well with the website. While it does slightly capture the essence of what the website is about (a lot of people come for weight loss), it doesn't very much match the theme of the re-designed website.

I think I am looking for something a bit more flat and modern in design, but I do like that you tried to think outside the box.

 

@normanmagallanes Sorry, but I am not interested in logos that are pre-created. I am looking for some unique and hand-made logos.

Edit: It seems that @normanmagallanes deleted his post. I would be weary of using his designs since they all seem to be ripped off of other websites.

 

My logo is simple and flat as you requested. I could put a symbol or something but tell me what you want.

 

@ClaudiuGabriel I like the simplicity, but I am not sure how that would look on the site. The site is a lot of square boxes and only a few rounded ones - so I don't know if that would be a good fit into the design.

@panduraju I really like the concept and I've seen a lot of your logos and love them. The text is something I don't like in this - but I'd love to see your other ideas.

@ClaudiuGabriel Actually I am going to be re-designing that - I am in the process. That's why I showed what the new site will look like. It'll be a bit cleaner and square in design compared to the old one.

@Padurariu Alexandru I like them, but I feel they may be too color contrasting with the rest of the entire site.

@IM3D I like it, but I think it looks disjointed (the logo doesn't flow because of the gap).

 

@BlastDamage While some of the website is about losing weight, I just don't want to turn into the "Losing Weight" guy on the block. I do like the design, but I am not sure the slanted U would fit into the design (I'm looking for a clean and professional logo).

@logoesdesign I really like the concept of adding in a fork and a spoon to the logo. It makes a lot of sense since the whole mentality of the health/nutrition aspect of my site is around eating. I don't like the logo that much, but the concept of the fork and spoon is fantastic.

@Padurariu Alexandru I love the design and font of the logo itself, but I'm not sure it really shows anything about the website. It could be about finding a soulmate or finding your future wife.

@ariif I like this a lot. It uses my old logo, but just elevates it to a new standard. I think this is one of my favorites so far, but can we do something about the font? I don't like it so much.
