Logo for “Wandsworth Advice” ‘Wandsworth Advice’ is a partnership of six not-for-profit advice agencies based within a small region of London, the London borough of Wandsworth. This is a new collaboration to improve advice and information services in the local community. We are launching a new website and project, ‘Wandsworth Advice’, and we are looking for a logo that we can use on our website, on printed materials, and at our events. Our audience is the local population, local government, and other not-for-profit organisations. The logo should: Be professional – serious, not a cartoon look/style Be colourful, but equally still work when printed/used black&white Not use the colours green & blue together (but you may use blue OR green, either on their own or with another colour). Unique and brandable We do not need a tag line. Our main aims / themes are: Working together – the six organisations, but also wider with other organisations Within the local borough of Wandsworth (see: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/London_Borough_of_Wandsworth) Supporting and providing advice and information to the local community I have no pre-conceived notions of the what the logo should be like – please surprise me with some interesting, creative and professional designs which I know the DP community is capable of. I look forward to seeing your entries. $50 to the selected winner, by Paypal. We will need full rights to what is produced (so please no clipart etc.) and source files. Vector images preferred (please state if you can supply this). Entries by next Wednesday 16th October, please. We reserve the right not to select a winner in the unlikely event none of the entries are suitable. I will give feedback every few posts and entries (don’t want to limit creative thoughts!). Happy to answer questions in the thread or by private conversation. Entries only accepted in the thread.
Thanks for your entry proki. While I like the idea of doing something with the 'W' and the 'A', I just don't think your entry is creative or professional enough. Decadence - thanks for your entry too. This is better, but I'm not sure what the three bars are meant to represent?
Thanks cristiano18, a good entry. Could you perhaps try something for the 'WA' that is more rounded, rather than the harsh straight lines? And could you also please try with the 'Wandsworth Advice' on two lines (Advice centered below Wandsworth)?
Thanks to everyone for the entries so far. cristiano's entries are the best so far. However, my partner organisations are not yet "wowed" by any of the entries - and there's still a couple of days for you to contribute your idea!
Our project board selected a design from cristiano18. Payment was sent and files received. Thank you everyone for your entries! We will be running another contest soon.
