I am re-designing the web site www.raftriverpottery.com. Nothing on current URL is for the new site except some photos of products. I need a logo designed. 1. I am looking for something elegant with earth tones. 2. I do not want something with much detail. 3. I'll need the winning logo in a .PSD (I have Photoshop CS2 and want to be able to work with it in case I need to change colors later) 4. Design for web as well as print. 5. Do not include domain in name (ie please no ".com") 6. I'm thinking it would be nice to have the idea be related to this image: Contest will end before Friday August 29th. I'm looking for atleast 5 entries. PM me with any additional questions.
I was just asked in two different PM's what the size/dimensions for the logo should be. The answer: I do not have a dimension for the logo because this is the first step in the redesign. We will be designing the site after we have a logo.
This is a mockup idea at 300 dpi for better printing. I keep trying to replicate the pot but it looks like a donut with frosting o.o
It's a sink, but you don't have to use it. I just threw it in there for a "quick" idea. The main idea behind the site is pottery so if you feel something else works better, go with it. Although doughnuts taste good...
Graphicband: I like the idea you have going, it's just not quite there... Edvinas: That's just not along the lines I'm thinking. It's not elegant/professional enough for my client.
Ani: I think I'm looking for something with more of a scripted font for the wording. Something to give it more of a "spinning" feel like a potter's wheel.
My proposal for your logo, inspired by the oval shapes of the image provided and the circular motion of pottery sculpting. Hope you like it Image is fully vectored, perfect for web and print
Ecchi: The business name is kind of hard to read RockPrincess: It's a little too plain. jackieh: I definately think you are on the right track. ASM: I like the design, but I think it's too "modern" for this job. envisionIT: Very professional looking! Although the pottery bowl kind of makes it look like it reads "ORaftRiver"
