Contest $50 logo contest for new computer product brand

We need a new logo designed for a new brand of computers/accessories, Oriental Computers. The brand name is "Oriental". The logo needs to reflect both technology/computers and Asia. At the right side of the logo should be written the name "Oriental". Both the logo and the name should be at the same height.

We need something stylish yet simple to remember and advertise. This logo will appear on computer cases, usb flash drives, computer parts, printer consumables etc.

Main colors are black and red, you can already check the site at www.orientalcomputers.com , the new logo will replace "Newbridge" at the top left.

This is rather urgent I expect to make a decision within 48h. If nothing suitable is proposed this thread will be closed and we will open a project instead at a freelance site.

 

Here is my take... Will look cool on anything... abstract "O" idea with oriental flair...

Thanks for the submission. I do not want the "Oriental" used as part of the logo. It should be plain text or only very slight modification (maybe on the "A" part)
