$50 logo contest for "DayandNight.in" - 48 hours max + consolation prizes!

I think that a lot of logos centers around the same concept.. So far I feel that these three entries standing out from the rest:-

1. @Madara: Really liked what you have done with sun.. although moon looks a little out of place... with a little cleanup this one can work great.
2. @jardo: I think logo height might exceed 100 px though.. Also, if possible please incorporate sun somewhere in your logo as well.
3. @Dante777: Another good clean design concept... But lacks a certain coherence in the overall theme.. Sun and moon should be better connected to

@naathans: thanks for the entry. the logo and text do not seem to be connecting very much.
@kainraziall: thanks for the update but this logo is somewhat similar to Madara. Also there are too many design elements which makes it a little difficult to brand

@crowquill: first of all many thanks for taking the time to participate. I'm so happy to see you here again. Regarding the logo, it's good but somewhat less brandable. i'm looking for design elements which connect to the text or maybe something unique like what you did for toufee then that would be awesome.
@jardo: this is my favorite so far.. would it be possible for you to match the logo's color scheme to my site at www.dayandnight.in.
@puttu: the design elements need to be more connected to the text in the first entry. also looking for something more unique for the logo. you second new entry is much better in that sense. thanks for the entry.

hi,

i'm closing this contest now since i have decided on the winning logo for my site.

The winner is Madara. I like the branding, and also the comet style star over the i of night. Very stylish logo with a strong branding.. Madara please PM me your paypal details so we can complete this transaction.

I also liked the entries by jardo (another good concept) and crowquill (very clean design + nice crisp font) would like to offer two consolation prizes of $15 each.. if acceptable, guys please PM your paypal details too.
