Are you going to be changing the forum skin? i was just thinking that blue isnt the best backround for the logo.

 

No, the skin will be there,
but the blue color will probably change,

Don't design your logo based on the blue color though.

That's a good start.

I'm not sure if its possible, but something that has some medical feel to it would be nice too.

Or

Something that has a "Hopeful" feel to it.

 

Here's my shot at it (Note, the house & hands were hand drawn then digitized, I originally designed it for another contest & it wasn't fitting for their target market, seeing that it has a caring feel I added the medical red cross to it and adjusted the colors to match your site more. This is 100% original & never sold before)

Uhm not to be a pain, but did you make the cross thing in the middle? Cause if not you have to show your source, to make sure that its not copyrighted. And you are allowed to use that.

Thanks for your concern. I'm not a n00b...I only use royalty free. I haven't seen any other designers listing their sources right on the thread or hi-jacking threads to rebuke those who don't. Those types of things are handled via PM, I believe. If you need some links, you could just ask.

I think what steveorm3l is trying to say is that even Royalty Free can't be used in Logo's to represent companies as their Exclusive image (It's in the terms of use agreement on ALL royalty free sites).

Thats an image that 1,000,000 or more have access to and use free (In accordance to the Terms of use). For one person out of 1,000,000 to sell the same royalty free design to ONE company with Exclusive rights is just not possible.

I can just see the company trying to sue one of the other royalty free users for having their purchased Exclusive company image on another site . Funny just thinking about it.

There are several designers that are not aware or were told it was ok to do by others, however, it's NOT! We learn something new everyday, I know I Do, I just hope you pass the word along to others so they don't do anymore either.
