$50 Logo Contest (Climate Warrior)

$50 for Winning Logo Design
We need a logo designed for a new a website that will be called
Climate Warrior

Logo Design Contest Details:
1. The logo should have both an icon and Climate Warrior.
2. The logo should be an iconic logo that is not too tall.
3. The icon should be in the center with "Climate" on the left and
"Warrior" on the right.
4. The icon in the middle should be a shield.
5. The shield should have a leaf on it.
6. We like green - especially for the leaf - and silver for the rest
of the shield and green, blue, or black for the lettering outside the
shield - but these are just ideas.
7. The logo should look good on a white/black/grey/green background - potential other header image below.
8. The logo should be professional, slick, unique, and web-2.0 looking.
9. Please post all logos publicly on this thread.

I plan to stay on top of the contest and provide timely feedback.

The contest will be live for seven (7) days (ends on Mon., July 13). At that time I expect to select a winner and send payment via Paypal.
Please do not wait until the last minute. I will not accept late
entries. You are also welcome to submit multiple entries.

If I spot a logo design that I really like I might end the contest
early. So please don't wait to submit your entries.

The winning design will earn $50 and second place will receive $10,
paid via pay pal.

mnuisnmu - i like the start. suggestions:
make the leaf more vertical, more integrated into the shield - it looks to me like it's floating above it, and make the leaf "tougher looking"
move the lettering off the shield
change to warrior (singular)
try a different font - that one just isn't doing it for me

i don't really like the crossed leaves
either one leaf or a stem with a few leaves is what I think is going to look best
your design creates a strong, dark impression - strong isn't bad, but I need more light-hearted, official, web2.0ish

Hemp - thank you, but that's not the direction I want to go in. The shield shape isn't bad, though.

jnjnnio - not a fan of the shield shape. Overall, I like your previous design better. The tree isn't a bad idea, but I'd like just the tree or just a leaf (or a few leaves off a vertical branch. The blue and green are brighter than I would like. I'd like something sleeker.

Rovil - not bad. Climate Warrior should be singular. Your design is more warm and fuzzy, soft, cutesy, than I was thinking, but I might be open to moving in that direction. I like that it is clean and professional-looking.

sunaina - thank you for joining the competition. I like the fairly simple design. I don't like the stuff growing outside the shield - I'd just take it off. maybe some more color would be cool. Maybe making the shield silver. A bolder leaf design - maybe just 3 bigger leaves. I'm looking for a fairly bold and straightforward, simple logo.

the shield shape is cool. I don't like the circle or the two leaves. darker colors would be good. not really into the shading effect or the font.
