We're launching a $50 logo contest, and it should be relatively easy for the winner. We're almost finished developing a survey website called PeopleVibe and already have a rough logo, but want it cleaned up. (It's for real surveys, not the make money kind.) I like the idea of the crowd above the lettering... however ours just isn't professional or clean looking enough as is. Feel free to change the font, color, look of the crowd, whatever. If someone wants to design something completely new, by all means feel free to submit it too, never know what you might come up with. Some things to keep in mind.... - We're trying to lean towards interesting/entertaining instead of very serious. Definitely not bubbly or silly though. - The logo will be sized large enough in use on the website, but some other spots where the logo might show up could be pretty small, like 100 pixels wide. - Winner understands that it's likely we will actually use the logo without further compensation to the artist, however it is likely that he'd be hired to re-create the logo in various sizes/colors or for banners.
My Tryout - Totally Different - Couldn't think of any other slogan Line though. Anything Could be changed on Request.
Nice try Xavier. A little dark and ominous though. FOR ALL - A tagline is not required with the logo.
Well it is the concept that I find dark. It doesn't come across as entertaining or fun... it's kind of scary... like a Russian Big Brother from the 60's looking down on their workers. It does look good though. It's slick, just not a happy fit.
hello wow sb1234 yours is so professional but a little big .... well here is my unfinished try: tell me what you think about it ?
Lots of nice entries. Not sure if I just eventually select a winner, or offer my thoughts on everyone's entries so far. I'm going to go with that, hopefully I'm not offending anyone. I'm not an expert by any means! sb1234 - Very nice attempt, but I think it would be a problem when resized small. Color isn't as strong as I'd hope too. I think the use of the shadow people would be good on a splash page, but couldn't be used in a banner... and if you take away the people, the logo would be too simple to stand out. designfxpro - I think the graphic overpowers the text. Doesn't really blend. mikeeisme - I like your second version better than the first, but would prefer to see a more alternative font and stronger colors. Also, anyway to blend the people in to the logo instead of on top? sairos - I really like the direction you're headed in. Any chance for a bunch more people in the back of the logo? Perhaps smaller heads, maybe just a bit less cartoony top make it fit and still be clear? Font styling is very nice and doesn't look canned. weblazer - I'm not an expert, but I think there are too many conflicting styles and colors. xavier - it does need color for sure, and like weblazer, I'm sure not sure if the different font stylings/sizes match with the use of the graphics.
Sorry, we've owned the domain for some time now, and I wasn't the original designed, so I don't know the font used.
