Contest $50 Logo Contest - 72 hours

Hi everyone - I need a logo and header for www.footballforums.co.uk. It is a soccer forum that is currently being redesigned and I need a really swish custom logo/graphic. I am paying $50 for the logo and $50 for the header. Feel free to enter for both to stand the chance to win a total of $100! Colours have not yet been chosen for the site as they will be based around the winning piece!

If you wanted the fan and other text adding like on the CavFan site I can do that.
Here is the 1st draft.

 

The current color scheme of the web site footballforums.co.uk - are these the ones you will use? I'd like to send studies of logos for you to consider, but am gearing towards the color of blue, red and white. Please advise.

tomabbs: Im not sure about the font - also, id rather the text wasn't on top of the graphic - thanks.

chewysmom - ive seen your stuff on here a number of times and like what you do. I'm not sure about that one though - it looks like a midget is kicking the ball and not a huge fan of the font! Could you try again for me mate?

By the way, the logo will be placed on a header similar to the one on the cab website.

If you can come up with a really nice header too (soccer version of the cav one) then I will pay a total of $100!!! It will need to look very nice though!!
