$50 logo contest ($5 for the 3 runner ups) Ends Mon, Nov 5 at 5:00PM

Hi All,

I need a logo for a site that I am building and I am looking for some creative graphic artists that have a good eye and know what it takes to make a quality logo.

The site is lastinglegacy.com and this logo will be used on the website, business cards, print, etc so please create accordingly.

Here is how the contest will work.
** All prizes will be paid via paypal, if you can not accept paypal please do not enter unless you would like your winnings donated to a charity or want to participate just for fun**

I am going to leave this contest open for 1 week. It will end on Monday Nov 5th at 5:00 PM Eastern Time.

At that time I will review all logos and select the top 4.
Those 4 finalists will be notified and paid $5 each for their logo submission.
The 4 logos will then be shown to some other people and I will tally the results and the winning logo artist will receive an additional $45 this process may take several days but the winner will be paid.

I am providing $5 to the three runner ups in hopes that this will inspire quality logos and good competition.

I will have all rights to the logo after the contest has ended and the transaction has been made. I also reserve the right to not select any finalists or winners if for some reason the logos submitted are of low quality, although with the talented people that are on this forum I doubt that will be an issue. The logo must be simple yet attractive and easy to read.

The logo is for a web site that allows people to post biographies of themselves for people to look at after they pass away thus leaving a legacy behind.

Initial submissions may be made with .jpg images but finalists will be required to send a fully editable photoshop image

I would like to have something that looks alright on print and online both, and without to many colors, as far as color schemes go I am pretty much leaving that up to you designers. Some kind of logo with an image and text is nice to make it memorable, the text only logos don't do a lot for me.

Very nice, a slogan could be nice, it is for a site that people will put up profiles to be viewed after they pass away so they can pass their legacy on if you will.

sergyu I like the images you put in the logos, is there any way to make them a bit simpler, maybe bolder less fine lines and that sort of thing so it is easily recognizable and easy to print/see from a distance. Logos like nike, gatorade, etc come to mind with somewhat simpler images, I am not sure if that is possible but just a thought
