Contest $50 Logo Contest - 48 Hours

We are looking for a logo for a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Apparel Company called J-o-u-r-n-e-y J-i-u J-i-t-s-u. We’d like the icon to be some sort of Rocket, with a circle behind it. For the typography we’d like something script like but fun. The feeling we’re looking for is Fun yet Professional. We chose the rocket imagery because it is symbolic of the journey into the unknown...the unexplored. It conveys hope, courage, growth, and discovery. Brazilian jiu-jitsu practitioners are extremely dedicated and passionate individuals who invest into their sport and are rewarded with a strong community and self discovery opportunity. Their "journey" never really ends and they are rewarded with a myriad of skills, bonds, and experiences.

If you could incorporate something to do with jiu-jitsu (belt, kimono, etc.) into the rocket or the circle that would be great. We’ll want a standard Web 2.0 logo with the icon and the text beside/underneath it in the script font that you chose, and perhaps a circle version with the circle icon, and the company name around it (not script). Here are a few examples of what we like. (the last one is the favourite)

 

Any colors you want or does it matter?

@CRH5 : don't like the style, colour scheme, typography.
@getdomain4u: please change color scheme. Redo typography... Looks too much like a team jersey. Could you remove or reincorporate the belt in another way?… Right now it just seems out of place.
@Aldabu: too plain.... Needs more detail and jiu-jitsu Incorporated into it
@puttu: don't like rocket style or random gi’s. Do like the circle.
@logos4all: really like color scheme.... Really like layout. Please revise rocket style. Would also like to see a version with typography outside of circle.
@irah-: like the colors, like the typography, don't like the rocket or how you've Incorporated the belt
@RJMV: really like the logo. Can you please try another style of rocket and color scheme of rocket.
@galalogo: like the incorporation of the JJ into the design. Not a fan of the overall style or the typography however. The location point is also unnecessary.
