Logo for “Merton Advice” ‘Merton Advice’ is a partnership of four not-for-profit (charity) advice agencies based within a small region of London, the London borough of Merton. This is a new collaboration to improve advice and information services in the local community. We are launching a new website and project, ‘Merton Advice’, and we are looking for a logo that we can use on our website, on printed materials, and at our events. Our audience is the local population, local government, and other not-for-profit organisations. The logo should: Be professional – serious, not a cartoon look/style Be colourful, but equally still work when printed/used black&white Not use the colour blue Unique and brandable We do not need a tag line. Our main aims / themes are: Working together – the four organisations, but also wider with other organisations Within the local borough of Merton (see: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/London_Borough_of_Merton) Supporting and providing advice and information to the local community I have no pre-conceived notions of the what the logo should be like – please surprise me with some interesting, creative and professional designs which I know the DP community is capable of. I look forward to seeing your entries. $50 to the selected winner, by Paypal. Contest lasts 3 days. We will need full rights to what is produced (so please no clipart etc.) and source files. Vector images preferred (please state if you can supply this). We reserve the right not to select a winner in the unlikely event none of the entries are suitable. I will give feedback every few posts and entries rather than after each entry (don’t want to limit creative thoughts!). Happy to answer questions in the thread or by private conversation. Entries only accepted in the thread.
Here's what i made. Top one is for promotions, print etc and bottom one for website. Logo symbolizes unity and togetherness between 4 people/teams/factions. Your feedback is highly appreciated.
There are some really good entries here. We really appreciate everyone's creativity. I'm waiting for my colleague to get back to me before I be more specific. @Deridium - Thank you but I'm afraid it's really not what we're looking for. @ariif - thank you for your entry, however, it's 'Merton Advice' and not 'Merton Advance'!
