$50 logo competition. Competition will close once a winning design is chosen by our client. We are looking for a logo for a self contained accommodation (like a Bed and Breakfast) called "Birch Cottage" and it was built in 1929 (if you want to put the year in somewhere -not necessary) The cottage is an Australian "federation" cottage, so they would like federation colours - maroons/pinks, heritage green, cream etc. The prize will be $50 for the logo. A birch is a type of tree if anyone wants to fit that into the design (not necessary) Technical detail: All designs must be original. All artwork must also be original. Copyright will transfer to us when payment received. 300 DPI or higher as it is for print. Don't do it at the default 72 (for those using photoshop) then convert to 300. This makes the edges blurry. layered PSD or AI format preferred. All text must be changeable on a separate layer. All our contests have been paid in the past, so you may compete with confidence. Please register your interest so the comp does not close without your entry. Paypal only. Please read the information on paypal payments and fees if you do not know how they work.
Here goes my entry 100% scalable.and the original psd is in high resolution of 300 dpi as you stated. ~hemp
Do you have a picture of the actual cottage that you could post? It would help get a feel for the mood & setting. Thanks
The idea behind the logo is simplicity. It's recognizable and simple, as well as crisp and clear. 300 DPI, full vector. I can deliver the .ai, and .psd as well as high quality .jpg's. The idea behind the leaves in the second logo is that they replace smoke in the smokestack, to better emphasize on the "Birch" aspect. Let me know what you think.
Hello, could you post a more specific brief. What style of accommodation - top end, cheap and cheerfull, classic, modern? Any existing litterature this needs to be used with? A photo of the business would also help alot. Thanks Attempt with current brief:
