I'm looking for a logo to be created for [IMG]
I also need a business card designed around this logo. The full business name is not decided yet but will be something along the lines of [IMG]

To get an idea of what I like, feel free to browse the portfolio of my regular designer for higher budget projects.

This business name/url is going to be for a locally run computer consulting and computer repair business specializing in on-site service of small businesses and residential customers.

    Requirements:
    • Your own content (nothing stolen).
    • Creative but still easy to read.
    • Logo must be created as a vector image as this logo is going to be used for online and offline marketing. It needs to be able to be blown up and shrunk down without changing the quality.
    • Logo must be equally presentable in all black (not greystyle).
    • The winner will need to supply three files: 1)Color logo 2)black logo 3)Color business card.
    • Business card needs room for the following info on it: Name & Position in the company, 2-line address, Phone number, fax number, website, email address.
    • Ideally I would like the designer to be willing to design a website and other offline marketing materials. Please post along with your entry if you are interested in future work. This is going to factor into who I choose as a winner.
Feel free to submit the design in any stage. I will be happy to provide feedback (and award the winner) based upon simple mockups.

    Contest Rules:
    • No copyrighted images.
    • Please post submissions in this thread.
    • Do not type the URL or business name in this thread.
    • Winner will be paid via Google Checkout (preferred) or Paypal upon delivery of layered PSD or AI files via email.
    • All rights to design work will be transferred to me upon payment.
Let me know if you have any questions. Contest will last approximately 48 hours. If I find an entry that I really like, I may end the contest early.

THANK YOU for all the submissions so far! Here's my feedback for the current submissions:
    • Ross860: I think the design is "okay." I don't like that logo is all one color. I think that the small lettering will be hard to read if that is placed on a business card. The integration of computer-related graphic into your design would also be valuable so that one can know this is a computer business without having to read the words.
    • watari: This is a very unique logo. The computer mouse graphic was a good attempt but it doesn't really look like a computer mouse. I also don't understand the significance of the crooked letter C. The business card design is very professional! I'd prefer a thicker, more bold font and a business card that takes the boldness of the logo to the next level. The business card does not need to be predominately white as the business cards will be printed in full color.
    • JRayers: This is my favorite logo so far although it isn't good enough to be the winner I don't think. I like the simple mouse-arrow graphic but I don't like the colors or the thin-ness of the font. I want something bolder. The back of the business card captures the boldness that I would like with the logo. I also don't like the layout of the front of the business card although I realize that is something that can very easily be changed.
    • RNHalawi.com: I like that this graphic is very bold and looks good in color and greystyle. I don't quite understand the significance of the wavy lines or the arrow in the letter O. I want the words "Computer Consulting" to be integrated into the logo as well.
    • CelaCG: I like this logo because it captures the boldness that I like. It seems a little to simple and the design part of the logo doesn't tell me that it is a logo for a computer business. Also, the words "Computer Consulting" are left out of the design. This is something I want to include.
I hope all this helps give everyone a better idea of what I like. I definately want a very bold, memorable look for the logo and I want a business card to take that boldness to a new level. I also want the design of a logo to tell me that the logo is for a computer business. I want a child, who cannot yet read, to be able to tell that the logo is for a computer business.

These are all GREAT designs and I certainly do not want to put anyone down. This is constructive criticism so I hope that it does help. Feel free to submit additional revisions or even an entirely new submission if an idea comes to you. This is a great start and I am confident that I'll soon find the ideal logo.

    THANKS!

thanks for the feedback... any way the "arrow" represents a mouse click... and the icon in "o" represents a computer... I included 2 different types of biz card here (front and back)
