Godsakes - I am getting flooded with PM offers of like $6 - $25 for some of these sites, so it is not worth it for me to answer questions from those people. If people want to post a question to the forum I have not answered, I would be happy to answer it.

As for GetBlogs, what would you like to know?

    suggestion:
why dont you set a BIN for each site and say for example not to post bids lower that x % , or set minimum bids. otherwise this tread is going to have 500 posts in it. cause folks are bidding lowball and you have to tell them its worth alot more.

good luck , though. they are some quality sites.

Eric, i don't know what the others think about your prices but i think you are way over pricing.
For example: you want $300 for a site that is only making 31 cents/month?
I understand that you ask more because of the PR and content, etc but still those prices are way too high.
Besides, PR is getting less and less important these days because many sites have PR4 - 5 and higher and they are also easier to get thanks to the link buying sites and such.
So i also doubth that a PR7 is worth $10.000 or more (afcorse it depends on the industry).

Anyway, good luck with the selling.

wow no offense but you're asking way too much, where are you basing this figures? obviously not on the site income

If you check sales of PR 7 sites, you will see they are always worth at least $10,000 and ones like GetBlogs.com are worth even more because it has a great domain and great content.

If I sold 6 links just on the main page, I could make over $400/month just from that. See the link price calculator at http://www.text-link-ads.com/link_calculator.php

Good sites, if you are interested in lowering the prices a bit I would be interested in buying a couple of sites. Until then, good luck with the sale.

jellyfish - make of offers on any sites you are interested in. I just listed those prices off the top of my head as guidelines to stop the avalance of ridiculously low bids that I was initially getting.

I'm a newspaper journalist and websites owner - and was interested in i-newswire.com, until you put a price of thirty grand on it which I think is too high. PR 7 is good, but it's not that good.

Can I ask has i-newswire been accepted back by Google news, and how do you prevent fake press releases getting onto the site. i-newswire ran into difficulties a few months back publishing unchecked bogus press releases about the death of Will Ferrer, and a 16-year-old Google fan announcing his hiring by Google - both were picked up and published by Google News. i-newswire was removed from Google News as a result.

I'm still kinda interested in the site, but the price is too high.

lifeisajoke - No, i-newswire.com no longer has press releases listed in Google News, but it still is making $1500/month based on the other sources that show the news releases from the site.

I prevent fake releases by quickly reviewing all the releases each day before they are published on the site. I used to just look to make sure they were not r-rated or total junk, but now I also check to make sure they sound real.
