We're getting ready to add a new site to our holiday network, one we feel will get some attention. We're just about ready but I'm not happy with the creatives. I need a catchy header and a scalable logo. I think I need some fresh input on this one. So, I'm opening it up. Here's what we need:

    The site: DefendChristmas.com
Theme: Fighting the War on Christmas

    Header: 728px wide
Logo: no more than 250px wide

    Colors
    Background: FFFFFF
    Primary Text: 008000
    Headlines: b90000

What we want is a splashy header for the front...nothing that loads too long but that makes a statement. Then we want to put the logo in the header on the internal pages next to a rotating banner 468x60.

Please contact me via PM for more info.

    thanks,
    Jeff

Heres a rough entry, feedback appreciated.

I was unsure of what else needs to be put in, so it looks really plain now.

Well, we're going with Defend vs Defending...to begin with.

This looks to me more like a forest ranger badge. We want more of a classic Christmas look....kind of a script type font that lends "class" to the look of the site...something rich.

The green and the red also just bleed too much together here, making the text a little painful to read.

I'm ok with using other colors than what is in the post for the contest. The colors are there to show you what the site is using in the CSS as primary colors. We're not locked into those for the header or logo, in my opinion.

I like the use of the tree in the logo and think that's the right kind of idea. A tree or a wreath...something universal to use as symbol to build these images is this right direction.

    Feedback enough?

    Jeff
