$50 header contest

    Need a great header graphic for chinese-strategy.com . . .

    Theme of the site is about classic/ancient strategy in China. Would like something that incorporates ancient (romance of the 3 kingdoms, sun tzu, etc.) with modern themes.

    Prefer lighter colors, but am ok with darker stuff too if it looks great.

    $50 via paypal.

    No time limit - when I see something I like I'll choose it and be done.

    Hi,

    I don't know what template/theme I'm going to use yet, so I would just say for the size - a standard size for a header - and I can adjust it as it needs later.

    The site is about classic Chinese texts on strategy, such as Sun Tzu's - The Art Of War, and so on.

    Below are some basic starter ideas . . I am looking for someone who can make something very nice and am pretty open about how that goes.

    The only qualifications I put on it are that it should be relevant to the subject matter (classic chinese texts and thought on strategy and tactics) and I would prefer if it was light and contained a mix of classic/ancient and modern/business type of elements to it.

    I know it's very vague, but - I am not good at visual art and don't want to limit the creativity of someone who is with a lot of pre-determined ideas.

    Hi everyone,

    Thanks for the fantastic entries.

    I've decided to go with JackieH's entry for this one.

    Really appreciate everyones effort, and the main reason that I chose this one is that I wanted to stay away from images of modern military, famous hong kong actors, etc. and Jackieh's design also appeals to me the most aesthetically, and I felt like it could be used across a variety of cms platforms (joomla, wordpress, squeeze page) most easily.

    Please pm me payment info, (paypal or other) and allow me 24 hours since I am probably on the other side of the planet and might have a very different sleep/work schedule.
