This is an all new contest. The site is www.tubeyak.com - It is a TV Show forum. This is an exclusive contest for members of only 2 forums (digitalpoint and namepros). Remember, everyone else who does not come from these 2 forums is ineligible. This is a raffle contest. The way you earn tickets is as follows:
    • 1 Ticket per Thread Post or Thread Reply on www.tubeyak.com.
    • 3 tickets per referral that makes at least 1 post.
    • 10 tickets for putting our link on a webpage with PR3 (1 domain gets you 10 tickets)
    • 12 tickets for PR4, 15 tickets for PR5, 20 tickets for PR6, 30 tickets for PR7)
The contest starts July 12 and ends August 12.

    Guidelines:
    • You must post your username that you register with, here
    • The person you refer must put you down as their referral for it to count.
    • You cannot make more than 1 account or you will be disqualified (you can't refer yourself)
    • If more than 100 people participate (in total from both forums), I will up the prize to $100.

When August 12 comes around. I will find some online system that will randomly choose a ticket #. Remember, the more tickets you have, the better shot you have at winning.

PM or Reply here with any questions.

Do you think more people would be interested in that idea? I could care less whether its top poster or random. I thought a raffle would be a better idea since even a low poster could in theory win the prize.

There is, it gives you a better chance of winning in a raffle. It's just that a raffle covers both sides. People with 1 ticket can still win which encourages people to try posting even a little bit, but people who post a lot know that they're increasing their odds tremendously.

This is how normal raffles work, and in real life they often get lots of participation. I thought a similar idea would work on a forum. Apparently not.
