Contest $50 for Logo Design - complaining man

Hello.
I have successfully done contests in the past on this site and am looking forward to this new one.

Here are the details of this new contest.

• $50 Payment to winner via PayPal
• We will own exclusive/all rights to winning design once winner is picked
• Winning design will be provided in high resolution layered psd or pdf format
• Winner will be picked when we feel the perfect design has been submitted.
  
• We reserve the right to request tweaks/changes to the designs submitted until a winner is chosen.
• We HOPE to have a winner picked by no later then Sunday, 5/24 but reserve the right to extend past that date if no winner picked by then.

Topic/conceptual idea for the image:
- looking for an original cartoon showing a man who is screaming and loves to complain.
- hands could be up by his head
- mouth could appear to be taped shut if you can still tell the person is screaming.

This is supposed to be an upper body image of someone who LOVES/enjoys complaining, is beyond frustrated, and just can not take it any more.

Only need shoulders up (with arms and hands if incorporated into the design)

This one is a little to angry if that makes sense. We did post in the details that they were "beyond frustrated" but in a frustrated/funny way, again if that makes sense.

 

Just got back to my workstation,response turnaround will be a lot more timely...i will have request in shortly

 

This is one of the reasons i prefer to pm my work on this site(i like the border you threw in there)

 

Above is one more variation to consider,design is a vector and created on a transparent background so that it can easily be applied to a colored or themed background,looking forward to hearing back

Thank you for all the posts. I have been on a plane so I apologize for the delay in responding.

Questions -
1) Would some sort of tape design across (or crisscrossed) over the character's mouth look good, or bad? Thoughts?
2) We do not like the one hand up but would be interested in comparing 2 up versus the current 2 down

Above are two variations to consider with hands up...in reference to the tape over the mouth, i gave that one some thought initially while brain storming,it was a good idea in terms of a neat visual but it may be more confusing as to whats going on and why its there visually(initially),the current suggested mannerism or posture alone i think would work better for a the main logo image and even more so since your not starting with a name first...you would need a strong name to help convey that one...i would suggest the concept with the tape not being in the initial main logo but could be worked on later as a secondary alternate icon image to maybe use around the site to compliment and add some humor to the concept of the site
