Update: This contest is now closed. No further entries will be accepted. First, thank you all for participating; this contest has provided me with an extremely wide variety of colours and design styles and I hope that my feedback has been valuable to you. The winner of the contest is tsoft with the following logo: For those interested, I selected this logo for a number of reasons: 1. I love the bright colours and from a web design point of view for the rest of the template, it gives me three colours to choose from for my primary, secondary and accent colours. 2. I like the soft/skewed edges to the design; hard borders are outdated and make the logo look too structured and less fun 3. It represents my personal style; since this is a personal blog/portfolio/playground the logo needs to reflect myself which nobody really asked about but it came out in further comments and discussions. Thank you all again for your entries. I will post my final comments on submissions between my last post and this post shortly.
I have Helvetica, it does seem similar to it but I'm not quite sure. Then again I've never used Helvetica on a word using all caps with tracking/kerning applied, that might be what is making it look a bit different in my eyes.
Thanks for the great contest! @germz: It's Helvetica CE @theAge: You've got some good eye on fonts. @jeezy: Thanks!
