Hi guys A few weeks ago I ran a contest for a client of mine - here it is: http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=857451 They chose Evo77 as the winner - it wasnt 'exactly' what they were looking for but they liked the concept and so paid the guy and then got someone to play around with it. They're still not happy with it though and would like you guys to have another go at it. This is the original from Evo77 http://fontmedia.net.au/nivarna_new.jpg and this is what they ended up with after playing around with the Logo http://fontmedia.net.au/Logo.pdf Their feedback for the latest logo is: "The design itself isnt to bad, the fish is a little overpowering (but we definitely want to keep the fish) and the colours arent the earthy colours we are after" Company Name: Nivarna Hair Studio No Tag Line Fish Must Stay - but not so 'in your face' - it could just be a very light opacity background image Colours must be 'earthy' / 'environmental' The Entire Logo must be in Vector format (Fonts and all!!!) as it will be used in many different areas at various sizes - winner to provide file in AI & EPS format Do your best for me please here guys - these clients are really nice people and I'd love to give them a logo that they're really happy with. I'll keep the contest running for a few days until we get a design that they're happy with
Ah I should have explained that bit. Its a sculpture that the owner purchased from a local artist, it sits in the foyer of the salon and has since become a part of Nivarna.
I've just spoken to my client again about the fish - hes said it doesnt have to be in the forefront - it could be very light opacity in the background - hope that helps?
Can I have the original image or photo of the sculpture. It would be easier for me generate new idea seeing the sculpture. Thanks in advance.
great idea dezine gen - I'll give my client a call and see what they can do - i'll get back to you as soon as
thanks for those guys - in both cases however the fish is still very much in your face - a background image would be much better. They're also both pretty basic. Feel free to try again - thanks for your work My client is trying to arrange a photo of the sculpture to give you guys a bit more inspiration
im working on your logo. Please wait for me.. it will be professional and catchly logo i know you like it. I will post it tomorrow.
Photos have been taken of the sculpture but I wont be able to get a copy of them for a couple of hours - I'll post no here as soon as I do
I have a few other ideas, but in order to keep the fish the same as what they have now, I'll need the vector (or psd) file of said fish.
thanks guys - still waiting for the sculpture photo - shouldnt be too long - i'll also get some feedback for the new logos
Heres the sculpture as promised: http://fontmedia.net.au/fish1.jpg http://fontmedia.net.au/fish2.jpg Feedback will be here shortly too
