I'm looking for an eBook cover that will need delivering both as a jpg, and as a version that can be used as the first page on a Google Docs file that will become a PDF. The ebook is to be on brand with this logo (I can provide the proper logo file to the winner): I want the eBook to look premium and modern (almost 'secret' looking), but equally, not too dark. It needs to look exciting and make people want to download it. I prefer simple illustrations over photos. Title: The '2nd Date' Hack SubHead: Win back lost rankings for ANY keyword The theme of the ebook is SEO. Not that I want the image to be a flat front cover (like the examples below) not a 3D book-like cover. Here are some examples of similar designs I like - though I'd like this design to look a little more unique so please do not simply copy these: Deliverables will be: The raw PSD or Vector file Jpg Variations (in a range of sizes) A version that can be used on Google Docs as the cover page.
@3SS - Thanks. I like it but not sure it quite has that 'premium' kind of feel to it. Looks nice but is very similar to most other ones out there. @watari - Sorry I don't like these. They don't have the modern, professional look I'm going for.
@3SS - Again, I like it and I prefer it to the first one but it looks a little busy and still lacks that kind of premium feel I'm after. Think more futuristic I guess. Also simplify it a bit and make sure alll of the text will be easy to read even when the image is quite small (like 150px wide).
@Johntamad - I like it but not sure the red fits with the brand. Does it work using the blue from the logo? @Mon Aldrin Bautista - I think that;s gone too far towards 'bright' and and too far away from the brand.
@3SS - I think the second version without the magnifying glass has potential. How about moving the logo bit to the top right out of the way and then using the available space to make the headline much bigger and the subhead a bit bigger? @getdomain4u - Not bad. Just perhaps a bit too complex. Would be hard to read the text at a glance, especially when the image is only around 150px wide. @Mon Aldrin Bautista - Sorry not keen on that, feels a bit dated. @Johntamad - I think the first one with the slightly darker background was better. It's not bad, not sure it's quite what i want but struggling to say why. Could be the icons maybe?
@getdomain4u - That's a bit better but still feels too complex. I think all the different colours, combined with different sized fonts (plus everything else going on) is just making it too hard to digest quickly. @Johntamad - Sorry, not feeling these ones, probably preferred the one before. Not sure a full background image like that will really work.
