Just as a general heads up, I would definately like to see some gradients in the text. Not drastic changes but suddle, check out Angela's initial entry as an example.

Very cool Freelance. Just as a heads up, its "Bind", not "blind" or unless that font makes it look that way. Try shading a "chrome" looking gradient (vertically) over the text and see how that comes out.

That font is crazy in that neat looking way. Why is it some of the letters tend to be gigantic while the others seem to be minimized, or was that just you? (Not saying I want it this way, just wonderin :p)

Very nice Flipz, this is getting very close to what I am looking for.

I probobly should ask this; Is it actually possible to make the text like that have a transparent background? My guess would be no (especially with the reflection effect), but let me know.

One of the goals I have for this is to make the logo have an absolute position so that I can literally "move" it. However, as much as I would like to do that; I know to well the limitations and annoyances of transparencies; so it is a goal, but one that can be easily discarded if needed. If anything, I would settle for the text split between the 2 images.

Suggestions for change in this would be to move the text so it looks like it is "sitting" on the darker blue color, increase the size of the font a few smidges,
and move the text out of the globe (and its rays)

    Just as a note:

You guys(and gals) have some amazing talent. It makes me so jealous :/ I get in a fight with the photoshop programs when just trying to add some effects to lets say text.

The whole transparencie thing makes the text look really bad so I took your feedback and came up with this :)

Yeah, that is kind of what I was figuring with the transparency thing.

Looks nice, I really have no other suggestions for it because well; it looks nice haha! Its so shiny too (my favorite type of distraction).

Oh, while I am rambling I guess the only last thing I would ask is that you get a little bit of a "bend" on the text to sort of match the hill.

The difference is small because a large distortion makes it look really pixalated.

Here is my attempt, everything is open for change and is completely transparent, so you can move it however you like :D Watermark will come off if chosen.

    Very Nice.
Some very pretty stuff going on here :)

    Raghav,
Very neat with the colors. It looks really sweet with the black background.

    AddictingToFate,
Very nice as well. You guys all have way to much talent and need to share some of it with me!!

As for the colors, they look and blend very nicely. The only thing I don't like is the solid color streak on the bottom of it. It has a beautiful gradient fading from the darker color to the lighter, then WAM its a hole new color. Its a neat effect, but not quite what I am looking for.

Can you make it fade back to the original color by the bottom of the logo or to the continued lighter color?

Try to make the silver do the same thing and we will have a looksee! :)

    EDIT:
Is this more of what you were looking for? Still open to suggestions for change as always.

Yup. The only thing I notice is that the streak is still running through the top of the arrows.

If its not to much to ask, could I see an example with the gradients running vertically as well?
