$50 design contest

    Looking for a design concept for my blog.

    Don't need coding and also don't need a full redesign. Here are things I don't like about the theme:

    1. Footer is blah

    2. Menu and category navigation in the header isn't great.

    3. "Related Sites" and "Top Commentators" in the sidebar seems out of place

    4. Color scheme is too flat. Looking for shiny.

    So basically looking for ideas on how to make these better, which I feel would complete my theme.
