50% Decline Rate - Experiment

Long irritated by YSM's decline rate (though still lower than Google), I decided to tabulate it.

Campaign #1: 46% of ads declined.
Campaign #2: 50% of ads declined.

Just when I was starting to think they had a policy to decline half of all submitted ads, I get this:

Campaign #3: 14% of ads declined.

No appreciable difference between the types of ads submitted (i.e., it's not like the higher decline rates are due to brand names, pharmaceuticals, low content, etc.). All campaigns are pretty much the same quality. I don't know about anybody else, but I've long ago given up on trying to figure out why ads are declined. Best policy is just to bombard them.

    Hope this helps.

this is partial the reason why so many people have issues with Yahoo Search Marketing.
