Contest $50 Corporate Logo contest- Payment by Paypal on completion - Guaranteed Winner

Hi again Guys, new contest for a UK based company that sells a buildings insurance policy for new build homes. The company is called construction shield. They would like the designers to take inspiration from the Harvard logo. You have a free licence with the colours but the aspects that require your inspiration from the Harvard logo are the style of the shield, and the ribbon banner at the bottom to contain the company name. He would also like to see a Celtic band surrounding the shield/logo to create a circular logo. All work must be free from copyright and the designer must relinquish the whole design and the fonts once payment has been made. We require the logo to be delivered in a fully layered version with fonts. There will be a guaranteed winner and feedback throughout the contest. Get creative!

Good morning Katesrobyn, the client kept changing their mind through the contest and I felt that we had ran a great contest and it was unfair not to choose a winner. I promised a guaranteed winner so I chose a winner and have started a new contest. The winner has been paid and files exchanged, hope this explains and will you be submitting?

Can we please explain the situation here. We ran our first contest and the client changed their minds multiple times as each new submission came in, they got another idea giving them a clearer picture of what they would like in a logo.

They then picked the winner, the submission that gave birth to exactly what they want. We contemplated on giving feedback and asking for people to submit more submissions but we also felt that we had plenty of submissions and didn't want to ask everyone else for more work on a contest we'd had a fantastic response to.

We decided to pay the winner and transfer files (all of which are done and successful). Then launch another contest with a much closer brief of logo requirements. This then allows us to be fair to all participants and give them the option of submitting again.

I'm aware submissions on my new contest is low, however, I'm here to assure you guys, payment is always guaranteed on all of our contest and we are very keen to see all of your submissions based on this new brief.

Really disappointing contest, but we guaranteed a winner, so congratulations GalaLogo. Please send me your PayPal details and I will get you paid. Thanks for the 5 designers that submitted entries, but 5 does not make a good contest. Its going to be difficult to keep on using this platform if you don't submit.
