Contest $50 Contest. Realistic Neon Text.

Hi All,

Looking for the most realistic Neon sign text that can be created. Will look better if placed on a realistic concrete style background.
For a sample please create only one of these buttons with the text "Contact Us". The winner will be paid US$30 for their initial design, and another US$20 if they choose to create 4 other buttons that are the same but different text. Payable via PayPal.
Please only post realistic entries. I have attached an image of a neon sign that would be similar style to what we are looking for (ignore the background).

I gave this a shot. I hope this is the kind of thing your looking for If not I will give it another try. Background and color are optional of course.

 

My try :

 

You would need to provide me more detail... Do you want simple 'Contact Us' neon-like text effect or do you want realistic neon effect on a brick wall background.
To simplify - do you need neon text logo or do you need neon text graphics.

Thought I'd reply to you to help you out. Most of this is stated in his contest description
He wants " the most realistic Neon sign text" you can create. He said it would look more realistic if placed on some sort of background: "Will look better if placed on a realistic concrete style background".
It seems like he needs a text graphic because he wrote that he needs buttons not a logo: "create only one of these buttons with the text "Contact Us"".
Also check out the image he attached. He wants something close to that just with "Contact us" in place of the "No Vacancy".

is it still open to new entries?

 

with or without the linking lines/cables type on the bg, colours can be changed, this style works on the concrete background as it complements the neon, it wont be as good on a single colour bg ..
