Okay I skipped on the animation but only temporarilly. This is the guy I came up with. I wanted to stay away from the typical green alien guy... because you specifically requested original and because the green you asked me to use was a little too dark for face. So I came up with this designed. Classical, easy to animate, and scalable (vector, flash). I have him drawn in tons of poses already. Antenna could be added if you liked and facial expression is easilly changed.

I could animate just about anything you wanted. It depends on what you're doing with him what would be best to animate. Could be something as simple as a tug of a grin or a wink or you could have him doing some kind of guesture... ti depends on what you want him doing I have no idea what kind of site he's for yet and exactly what kind of personality he needed to have and that is why I decided not to animate my entry
He's going to go on my web design site - I run my own company and want the mascot to feature at certain parts of the site with offers/instructions on the signs he holds etc. EDIT : OK guys, i'm going to delay naming a winner until the morning as i'm too tired to decide right now. it hurts like hell, I couldn't concentrate much for the past three days, I'll have this pulled out after the pain goes away, the dentist just placed some sort of numbing cotton on it at the moment. Cant wait to see what you'll do with the new site...

Either three things are possible : 1) Aries is on Sitepoint selling his character. 2) Aries didn't create the character and it's a stock image. 3) The designer on Sitepoint stole it from Aries. Who knows which is correct.
