$50 contest - Background/color scheme suggestions for education site

Hi everyone!

I know there are a lot of great designers here with an eye for professionalism, detail, and color, so I hope you can help me.

Looking for new color scheme suggestions for my site. Personally, I like the colors the way they are now, but some visitors have been commenting that its too "bright" so I guess I'm looking for something more neutral.

$50 prize to the winner. Contest ends on Friday, 11/19 around 12:00EST.

Note: I am NOT willing to change the header, fonts, or the layout of the site.

I am looking to change the color of the links, text headers, and color of the boxes. I do like the dark green background, but I am willing to consider suggestions for changing that as well if you think it's necessary.

Looking for something friendly, more neutral (but I still like color) and something that blends well with the header.

To enter - mock up a picture of an internal page such as this one and post it in the forum.

Remember - layout and header need to stay the same, just looking for style-color changes. New boxes for content, new color for navigation bar, and maybe new background color/image.

Details:

- Contest ends on Friday, November 19 around 12:00 eastern time.

- Winner can be paid by paypal.

- Winner agrees to send box images and/or other necessary images in png and eps/ai format.

- I reserve the right to pick no winner if I don't like any of the entries. I also reserve the right to end the contest early if I love what I see before the deadline.

- Please post entries in the forum for all to see. If you send a PM, then it has to be posted when the contest ends so everyone can see it.

- I will try to provide feedback for all entries.
