You can view my header at www.trendspike.com I'm getting ready to launch it, hopefully next week, but I want everything to be perfect. I love my logo and most of the header. What doesn't really excite me much though are the characters. To be honest, I'm not even sure why. I believe they need more detail? So, I'm offering $50 to the best new character design. Feel free to start with the characters already on there, or start fresh. I realize illustration isn't easy, and I'd offer more if my budget allowed for it. If you're interested, give it a shot. Guidelines: Woman needs to be sexy. Preferably in a mini dress and high heels, and preferably leaning on the guy (like she wants him) unless you have a better idea. Man needs to be good looking and seem successful. I prefer a suit and tie, with him adjusting his tie unless you have a better idea. Also if you can maybe get a nice watch and cell phone in there, that's cool too, but not required.
I don't really have a deadline. I'd like to launch my site next week with new characters. I guess I'd say 1 week from today.
Actually, going to cut that deadline down to Sunday at midnight central time. My blog is near finished.
oh wow. to be honest i was getting ready to go head over to guru.com and hire someone. i didnt think anyone would try to pull it off in the contest forum. you definitely hit the nail on the head designfxpro...i may need a few changes but nothing major.....to be fair, i wont close contest just yet just to give everyone a fair shot who said they were going to enter..hard to see anyone beating that though for $50
designfxpro, 1. I'd like the woman to be in stilletos (sp) rather than normal high heels. Guess I should have said that before, woops. 2. I'd also like to see what the guy would look like with a different facial expression...a little more sly. Similar to what you see on the original male character on my website. However don't change the file you have now, because I may end up keeping that expression. Just want to compare the two side by side and see what looks best. This next request is not required by any means, but if you do it, I'll throw in an extra $10 for you..... 3. I'd like to see a different face/hair on the male to compare as well.
