$50 By doing nothing

This month I earned $50 by doing absolutely nothing. Thats right no fresh content no work on this website nothing at all. Ok so the money isn't huge but a lot of people out there are struggling to even reach this figure so I thought I would talk about what I did.

At the end of last month I got a message in my adsence account recommending that I put a google search box on my page. I followed the instructions and copied the code and placed it on the site instead of the search box was already there. Done.

23 days later this search box has made over $50, For those of you not using the search box I would highly recommend you start!

 

Could you please share the location of the search box where you placed it on your site please?

 

Yeh of course. The site is a general purpose wiki so I literally replaced the search box for the wiki with the google box.

See wikipedia.com for an example of location. The site in question also has very few visitors per day around 100 unique.

 

That makes sense, putting a google searchbox on a wiki, because searching is what people do on a wiki. Never even thought of that. But then again I don't have a wiki

I have a search box in high traffic webiste and doesnt any single buck

 

I hate AdSense for search. I personally never use it... for the same reasons. I guess it depends on the type of site you have.

 

Very strange, I wonder if location or as Sjoerd-pop said people come to a wiki to search!

hmm I have search box almost at the bottom of the page still I get around $10-$15 per month from search boxes.

 

u bought some addword from a guy here but now all of them disabled an i have this msg when i login to google adsence web site

Apply for an AdSense account.
Go to AdWords home.

 

if you give complete info in your website, the visitor dont need to search other source

I would say that the search box works depending on your site nature. If users can find most of the things they want in your site (which is also good news), they probably would not use the search box..

 

I'm a big fan of the Google search.

I've only had to implement the code once, and it now generates a dollar or two a day for me.
