How can the logo pic be made to look more integrated in with and together with the words assetwise?
One way may be to drop the green and red. Keep the big section as 3 puzzel bits, but all in the same blue as the word asset. It may just be a wee bit too busy with all the colours anyway. That way there is a relationship between the logo pic colours and the text colours.

Another way to make the text and the logo pic look more integrated is to make the .co.nz vertical, (which shortens the logo). And when .co.nz is vertical it needs to be read with the head tilted to the left.
Then shift the tagline left and partly under the picture, so the detached puzzle piece is over the start of the tagline. The end of the tagline would end flush with the end of the vertical .co.nz

Maybe if the pic was a little smaller it might also look like it works ‘with’ the text.? Not sure though…
And if the pic can be lifted so it aligns with the bottom of the tagline that will help.

And I hate to say it, but Im still not sold on the font. I do like a clean sort of formal font, but Id prefer it a tiny bit thinner I think, so not bolded… and a slightly different style. Just something less common.

I like your second logo font. Looks good.
Drop the exclamation mark ‘!’ off the end of the tagline.
Turn the .co.nz vertical, but read with the head tilted to the left.
Font needs some colour as not striking enough.
I like what you are trying to do with the blocks in the pic, but they are not being recognised by others as the A and the W, so can they be modified in some way to look more like an A & W. To do this I think they need to be on a steeper angle. So maybe use diamond shapes instead of squares? (in other words, squeeze the sides of the square boxes inwards so they are higher than they are wide.)
That should result in a steeper angle to the sides and they should look more like an A&W. Possibly even 4 diamonds down a leg instead of 3. But you’d need to see visually which works best.

Can you try a red and medium 50% dark grey as an option. It may look more striking.
Tagline needs to be in a cleaner font, not the casual font. Maybe similar to tagline font on sample a in post 70

I like the font in version ‘a’, especially the tagline.
Main font is good too, but something about it seems not right. I think it is the capital A. It doesn’t seem to fit with the angles of the e or the W.

I like the circles in version b. But they need to tilt up to the right, not the left.
And can you make the coloured section of each thicker? Also raise them up so the bottom sits flush with the bottom of the tag line.

Bugger, Im late for a birthday dinner so have to go. Will report back in few hours.
