Hello I have 50 sites, each on their own domain, and would like to have a blog on each. Each blog is about a different country in Europe (France, Spain, Italy, etc.) Rather have to install and update 50 copies of Wordpress, I am wondering if it is possible to install it just once, and categorise any posts that I do under 'France, Spain, Italy, etc.' depending on relevancy. I would then want the France site's blog to display only the posts assigned to the France category, the Spain site's blog to display only the posts assigned to Spain, and so on... Does this make sense and can it be done easily? Thanks...
Do you want the France site exclusive for France search engines? Not sure if this is what you are looking for... but you can try FeedWordPress or wp-o-matic. Both are free WordPress plugins. I'm not sure how to keep each site exclusive for your designated area.
We use http://simplepie.org/ and feed posts from different categories to different pages in a website or you can use it for totally separate websites. It works really well and you can customize how much of the post will show by characters.
Thanks for the replies, guys. techrn... if we fed all our France posts to one separate site, could that 'blog' also have things like a montly archive and the facility to put 10 posts to a page and have 'next' links, etc.?
