Krishmk - I do like this for being alternative, the perspective and widths are distinctly different from the others - and I like the beams/waves. Could you remove the antennae and just move the beams in nearer to the points where the antennae currently come out of the carton?

    Here is my updated entry:

Feedback - day 3. Thanks for the effort put into the updated submissions. And thanks for the new submission from Katesrobyn - I'd never thought of giving the milk carton some personality :) Your smallest size is a bit larger than 16px tall, this is definitely the hardest size to work at - nearly anything that's just scaled down to this size does tend to become unrecognizable :(

But like I said I'm not going to make this tiny size central to my decision.

In terms of coming closest to what I originally had in mind Skaritza is currently in the lead. However of the various other submissions I also very much like the entries of Katesrobyn and Krishmk for bringing different looks/ideas into the competition. If I'm indecisive at the end I may choose a winner but also ask to buy other designs at a privately agreed price.

To show I can niggle even with designs I very much like I'll comment on Skaritza's last submission. First - thanks for providing the images with beams/waves with squared caps and then the same again but with round caps - I prefer the rounded off look. Now the super-minor niggle - the waves seem to be emanating along the red line I've drawn in, but the arcs look slightly unbalanced (to my eye) relative to this line, i.e. the cyan line I've drawn in is about 10% longer than the purple one.

PS - thanks Skaritza for the PMs - I do appreciate the thought put into getting the best use of space (and sorry for not replying directly).

    Hi all --

First - thank you all for your submissions - Skaritza, Pehulz, Gibblet, Appleinc, Krishmk, Katesrobyn and MrRooT.

I find the winner takes all component of these competitions hard - when so many people have produced great work.

However the winner is Skaritza (I will contact you now by PM). His submission is clear, neat, simple and well executed.

My second favorite is quite a different design - the one from Katesrobyn, I liked the personality given by the smiley face and cartoon-like angles.

I'm going to be mean and not award the separate $20 bonus for a "secure" version of the graphic as nothing very surprising/innovative came up on this front (if you feel this is unfair please say so).

Many thanks again everyone - it was a very interesting first experience at running a competition here.

    /George
