Waiting for client to get back, there wasn't much variation so not sure how it will go. I will keep the thread updated as with my others.
okey.... here the revision my entry... http://img176.imageshack.us/my.php?image=livyourfantasylogobicopik5.jpg
There is nothing to update until the client decides wether he wants to use one or there wasn't enough variation. I am not going to rush my clients into deciding their brand identity. Check my other threads and feedback I have never not paid or left something un-resolved so you haven't really got much to worry about. I do prefer to sort these things faster aswell, but that is the downside of it not being my choice and this fact was stated in the original post.
The contest holder here, xd2, is outsourcing this work via a contest. Sometime, as an outsourcer, you won't hear an update from your client for days at a time (due to them having their own schedules etc.) and this makes it hard for a contest holder to give any updates - he can't select one himself as it's ultimately not his decision. The fact that he is wanting a logo for a client is noted in the original post, and as such you should allow extra time for the interaction between the contest holder and his client. You should never, ever rush a client into making a decision (it's their money) and the same goes for contests. It's usually a very important decision when you are branding your business. Just be patient is what i'm trying to say!
Firstly I can't apoligise enough for how long this has taken. The client stopped working for xmas which left me in a bit of a bind with choosing a winner. Thanks to DaveyBoy for explaining why I couldn't make constant updates though. They have chose a winner from the designs I sent but I can't see the design in the thread anymore. If anyone edited a post to remove their design could you please re-submit it so I can notify who won and pay them Would hate to have to do all this again Thanks David
And finally: The design by jackieh1791 was selected by the client as the winner, payment has been made and the artwork has been received. Thanks again to everyone that entered and I should have another one running in the not so distant future. David
