Snip, Zen, Biz and Pop: All very decent. (sorry rim looking for a little more) (and Zen your last one is definately your best) But I am still looking for a little more: I want a logo and a header that can each be great on there own. Combined they should be truely artistic. Look at this site: http://www.alchemy-gothic.com/ This is what I am looking for. The logo is very unique and stands great alone. And see how well the logo blends with the rest of the header. Even the best sample above look more like the logo/name was just pasted on the header. I want the logo to interact with the header.
Getting a little crazy there zen although the textured component of the last font looks cool, the slogan text is cool but a little hard to read and I am still not totally sold on the background image. Biz: love the tribal frame you added. It interacts with the image more. I like the font you use but I do no really like the ballooning in the center. Plus, the haunt.org cannot realy stand on its own as logo, and its a little too large. Also, not enough color in the entire design. Sheeze: Very good start but it is haunt.org not haunted. The logo part can definately stand on its own. Plus it interacts with header without blending, it stands out, that is what I want. The font is unique, slightly distorted, and has a nice color blend to it. I am still notsure about the ghost. I like that its there because it adds more to logo but I am not positive it might but a little too kiddie. Sand: you did a great job of interacting the name with the image but the entire thing just does not really look halloween
here are a few more that I did, Still not really happy with any of them, I really do not have the time or talent to do this. But in any event here are all my PSDs, feel free to use anything: http://www.haunt.org/files/psds.zip Good luck to everyone.
and the logo as a standalone i tried going for the "haunted house fence ornament" look. with the whole haunted cemetary in the back, the fence in the mid, and the logo in the front. the logo looks like it can fit on the entrance to the cemetary fence.
Sorry, I got tied up with a few other issues that required immediate attention. I will review the entries and provide feedback and possibly annouce a winner very shortly. Thanks
