Some people always act like Google are going to flip over this, which is not true. If the traffic is 100% natural, then he won't have any problems.
You know one of the secret lies in some template, some theme. I saw some who are REALLY optimized for adsense. In the sense that everything is black on white, even links are black. Except adsense which has blue links. Then the CTR is great. Here is a list of adsense optimized templates, I tried but didn't find the template I had in mind and have seen discussed before, so I've spent 10 minutes trying to find it back and couldn't so now I stop but send you this link which has some ugly templates but who get high ctr in adsense, especially the first ones: http://www.doshdosh.com/16-adsense-...emes-to-maximize-your-contextual-ad-earnings/
50 - 60% ctr doesnt seems to be too good a ctr. As, in normal circumstances, 5-20% is ideal. Double check whether someone is not click bombing your site.
sounds good but if adsense smells invalid clicks then either your adsense account will be blocked or will take back your adsense earning.
Some sites get very high CTR. Some of my "product centric" sites get a CTR around 50%. Doesn't mean too much if you are only earning 10 cents per click though. Some of my get a lower CTR, but have EPC of over $2-3 average, so they can earn very well with low traffic.
Did you ask your friend to click ADS on your website ?? because your AdSense CTR is too high...maybe Google will ban your site...
That is silly, I have been using Adsense since day 1 and I have hundreds of websites that get 30-50%+ ctr everyday and have been for years. If you aren't breaking the rules, you have nothing to worry about. Google LOVES high CTR's, we both make more money, and google loves making money. A high CTR is most cases isn't a fluke, it is a well thought out and executed strategy. For example one of my sites that is normally 50%+ CTR on most days, and on occasions has been over 100% CTR (and this is with 50-100 uniques per day) -- is because I have a few things going for me. --It is an exactdomain.com website, and I am number 1 on google, yahoo and msn and other top 3 websites are not relevant. -- Ad block is large rectangle, front and center above the fold -- I have 2 advertisers on my page who advertise in their title -- SAVE 30-75% on KEYWORDHERE, and other with -- SAVE 50% + Free Shipping on KEYWORD -- I made the title of my domain -- 'KEYWORDHERE -- Save 30-75% on KEYWORDHERE' so that my website title in the SERP(s) matches the google ad people see on my page. Because of the advertiser offering 30-75% off on their purchase, me being number 1 in google, and also putting that right in the title of my page so that people are already aware that they can save 30-75% on my page somehow before they even click on my site on google, they are already aware of the deal and will be looking for my ad, because they want to save that 30-75% on their purchase. As you can see, this isn't some random fluke, it was well thought out, and executed, and most likely the OP did something similar. A large part of your CTR is not under your control, it is what the advertiser it writing, if I didn't have people advertising on my page offering up to 70% off, my CTR wouldn't be anywhere near that high.
it's great but i thing it's too risky men..You'll get banned sooner or later..your CTR is too high...
i read somewhere that CTR should be around 4-5% at maximum beyond that limit google will think that you are getting invalid clicks and will eventually BAN you goodluck anyway
