Basically, I need a logo for my web design company, as I am currently not happy with my current ones:

My company is "Level 9" and slogan can be simply "web design". My business is gaming oriented, so take a look at those popular gaming titles and take what you can.

Here are my tries, but I am unsatisfied with them. If you think you can do better please do so.
Note: If your one of those contest participants that write the company name and add a gradient, please leave this thread now as I am looking for a quality logo specialist.




I have no specific requests or contrast except that:
I prefer that you do not create the logo in cursive / hand written font.
I prefer a cartoonish feel, in my attempt I added a sword and bunched up the letters.
I prefer a universal logo that looks good everywhere, in big, in small, on the bottom of my designed pages, etc.

Im looking for a fat sort of logo with bubble letters and a fat sword for the L, "Lvl9" is acceptable. Please be clever and unique!

I like it, espescially the use of flipping the last two EL backwards to make a mirror-type image.... but theres no symbol that makes it stands out, makes it look like a font with gradient, which is easy to replicate and what im not looking for.

I like your style and its not bad for a first attempt, Great emphasis on the V as the flow leads towards, but Id like to see more, try replacing the two V's with swords interweaving if you wish to stick with the design you've already made, if not try a different concept

Ps. I was going for more of the name being the symbol, like something like the. I will see what I can do, probably not a new concept because its only a 50$ contest.

I dont like the font and use of colour

The logo looks likes it was taken from a logo website, and its irrelevant to my company, the slogan font is a bit to "medivalish" style to me, and the overall style for the "level 9" is to shiney, first thing came to mind was an adult site.

Looks nice, but I prefer the sword tip to be pointing upwards, and the font is to gratiffiti-ish (Which i dont fancy), overall its nice and i'm sure you can do much better! Try to mix up the colours a bit, and use a different sword, I dont like scimitars.

The sword had terrible quality and it looks like a remake of my design, which I already mentioned I didnt like.

At this point Lipgut has my heart (Although not his current one, but he shows great potential), and treyb.
