Hi all, My aim is to have a web page with 50-100K impressions / day. I believe with such an impression, I can earn 1500-2000 usd /month, which is ~ good for living in Turkey. (You can even live good with 1000usd/month - not bad at least). + (with good adsense optimization I believe I can earn that much) I want to create a basic service, which will create an offset salary to me, so that I can easily focus on more projects without working for salary. I created many web projects for many years so I'm capable of coding "anything" in server side. I'm ready to work hard for either content or code. In this step I want to forget everything I know and ask you. What kind of a service would bring me that amount of impressions/day ? I believe 50K is not a big number... I'm ready to listen anything.
Firstly I would rework your calculations. I get about 100K pageviews a day, and sometimes make about 5 bucks a day, not anywhere's close to even $1000 USD. You need to not be concerned so much with pageviews, as with CTR rate (quality of traffic, etc). Don't focus on pageviews. Some of my sites with the lowest pageviews actually make the most money because they either convert really well, or are optimized well for ads.
If 50k is not a big number and you want to make 1500 USD per month then you should not be the one listening You should be the one coming up something that the internet has not seen....If we already know those ideas....we d prolly be there now dont u think... The internet did not start the day you thought you want to make that much money...People have been doing this stuff before you.. Somehow i find your post quite humorous
I think that you could better focus on affiliate marketing, rather then creating a business that runs on adsense only. There are many more ways to get a decent income, but every way is really hard. Let me get you some ideas: #1. Monetized niche website. Build some website around a niche, and monetize it with google, I would recommend you get a copy of joel comms ebook about making money with adsense (you can get it for free, just google it) But you need to work hard on traffic, to get 1500$/month. (I would recommend niches such as loans = high pay out) #2. Perform affiliate marketing. Wether you do if from a blog, or from PPC campaigns. You can earn a lot from affiliate marketing if you hit the bomb. BUT it's really hard to learn and get into it, so first study and read ebooks/blogs. Write everything down you need to have on your landing page/website, then just start. #3 Monetized Community. Forums, Game websites, Video websites. Create a website were visitors can make their own profile or blog or anything like that. People will come back and that's double money. Once it starts rolling it isnt that hard to manage. But again, hard working on SEO and traffic is necessary! I have plenty of more tips but I hope you get the point! Good luck
thanks xternall. Travis, It's all about adsense optimization, well, one of my sites has 300-400 impressions daily, making 1$ on avarage. As I calculated even 15-20K impressions can make 50$ per day. This site is not English, if it was English, I guess I'd be earning ~3$ daily and 6-10K impressions would be enough for my goal.
I would focus on affiliate offers rather than AdSense. Or create an ebook on how to code on the 'server side' and sell it on Clickbank. If the book is decent and you offer a good commission, you could have an army of sales staff to create the passive income you are looking for.
