So here is my idea. In order to help complete beginners (including myself) out with CB, I've decided to keep a journal on here so that people can learn from my mistakes and progress, and so that the community can point me in the right direction as well. My objective is to make $50,000 dollars in my first 6 months without spending a dime to start. So to all the CB users out there, Day 1 starts tomorrow. Offer your tips and lets get this expirement rolling
In some cases it can be that way. But from what I understand it's lack of determination for most people. They try something, it doesn't work out to well, and they stop or put very little effort in. I'm not saying it's the case for you, but its the case for 90% of unsuccessful people in this area. I'm not entirely new to internet marketing, just to clickbank tactics.
An great idea and wish you have a great start tomorrow and hope this thread will have more useful tips on how to use CB efficiently.
A lot of people make $8000+ per month. But it's incredibly rare for someone to do that in their first month. Very, very few can go from $0 to $8000, starting from nothing in their first 30 days. I've never heard a credible account of someone doing that in the first 30 with 100% free methods. I'm not trying to burst your bubble. I'm saying that because the way your goal is framed sets you up for failure. Just get sales. That's all you should be focused on your first few months. One sale a day, then two, and so on. Keep cranking out sales, and creating new campaigns and the big money will follow.
Yeah, it happens. Some people are very, very good at this. But it's more common for beginners to have less than $200 their first month, so they quit when they don't ring the cash register big time.
yes, i agree. i should have mentioned my friend started with $6,000 budget. i actually lent him the money and he paid me back $6,500 after he got his wire (11 days after I lent him the dough). but yeah, plenty of affiliates started with nothing and now make thousands per day, just takes longer to get off the ground.
Well I wrote the OP topic pretty early while I was still half asleep. It's more fair to say that I will be using CB, but also other methods as well. Though CB will be the focus. The main point of this journal is to challenge that near impossibility with the support of members of DP and hard work. I know most people don't achieve great sums of money in short spans of time, and I'm not looking at an easy task. It's rather an experiment to see if the collective knowledge of the DP community can produce the results, and in turn have the logged process there for others to see. Setting such a high goal can be a motivational killer, but I want it to be exciting and informative. Let's see how far we can run with the ball before time is up. On another note, I have been doing some research as to where to start this journey. That is I wish to get as much information as possible today and start Day 1 beginning tomorrow. A couple questions for those who are more experienced. 1. It's common knowledge that people use articles, networking, bookmarking, and pinging for backlinking. One of the sites I never see anyone use is Wikipedia. It sounds perfect to me; You can edit it on the spot (meaning no waiting for approval or hoops to jump through,) as long as the material pertains to the wikipedia article you are linking from it can pass as resource material. It's like an endless amount of self written backlinking. Is there a reason as to why people don't take advantage of this? For instance the backlinking not be effective or Wikipedia removing these links in most cases? 2. Using .tk as a web domain? .tk is a free redirecting service that doesn't use subfolders. For example, you could make www.howtomakecash.tk, the redirecting does however include an inbedded popup. Would this bypass some filters in which you aren't allowed to redirect from subfolders and what not, or would the inbedded popup set off more alarms than trick?
anyways my best wishes are with him ..even i m gonna start from tomorrow but with me its a different thing..and my goal is just $1500...enough for my new royal enfield bullet
Good luck on your journey to IM success! About your Wikipedia idea, sources generally need to be things like published books, journals, the idea being that the source is official and provides genuinely new/significant information. Wikipedia is not widely used for back-linking because more often than not your links will be removed, and also I believe that they will have the no-follow attribute automatically added and hence be pretty much worthless as far as the search engines are concerned.
Captain's Log, the first day of our journey is wrought with trouble, the borgs.... errr, I mean. The first day of this project is here. I've decided to start off much in the same way another journal on here has. $60,000 in 10 months. But with more of a bang out of the gate and with some of the knowledge it and others have shared. So my plan as of yet this early morning is to get 3 products with 3 domains, and 3 EZA accounts in which I will submit 10 articles for each product, with seperate keywords of course. Goals Since this is supposed to be without investing a dime, the first thing I must attempt is to acrue some spending money. Reinvesting money made from the experiment is fine as I see it. It only means that I still have to make a net gain of $50,000. So using what I have for some quick cash, I plan to sell signature links right here on DP. I also plan on choosing the products and writing most, if not all, of the 30 articles. I will update later on in the day as to how things are progressing.
Good luck , Petehols is doing it too, but his goal is 60.000 in 10 months. He is doing this for 147 days now , he made 12.000 $ till now , So I think you should read his thread and get inspired.
Very Difficult. But it can be achieved. Good luck. Your going to need to work 50 hours a week. Or have a lot of money to invest.
I Have Been Working for last Two Months Still I Did not get any sales so far . I Astonish when I'm seeing your expectations in coming 6 months any way Wish you all the best
Ambitious I know, but that is why I'm keeping a journal. I think it's pretty exciting. I'm going to declare now, that even if time runs out, I will keep this thread (or possibly start a newone) going until I reach $50,000. Just to see how long it takes. Though that doesn't mean im not going to be working around the clock to achieve my original goal.
A quick update today. I have chosen my 3 products and have started keyword researching and article writing. Once I get a good understanding of just which keywords are converting and getting high rankings, I will try to explain in full detail of just how to go about choosing your keywords. I want to record all of my improvements for others to learn from, and I find that good keyword selection always seems to remain a secret. Hopefully I can shed some light on it.
