How Apache web server helps website in Search Engines?

Hello experts.

I am handling a website that is on Apache server. I don't have technical knowledge and server knowledge also. I heard that website server can affect website traffic and ranking in search engines. Please give me some idea about Apache server and which type of server can affect website in search engines like Google? And, How to use it for SEO?

 

I don't think a web server can affect traffic and/or ranking in search engines. SEO does not have to do with the type of a web server.

 

I think it can, when your server is down or slow many times it can maybe affect your rank.

 

yes it's effect your SEO when it not reply correctly for spiders or you have big traffic on it.
so you must configure it correctly so your website work smoothly and get good SEO and rank

As long as the web server isn't slow or buggy, it doesn't have anything to do with SEO. If you don't know how to administrate a server, I recommend you leave that to your provider.
