5 Years old child is 60 feet under the ground right now for over 43 hours now

Army personnel on Sunday scrambled to rescue a five-year-old boy trapped for over 43 hours in a 60-foot pit that he accidentally fell into.
Army engineers had to dig a tunnel alongside the pit, whose opening was not wide enough for a person to be lowered in to rescue the boy named Prince.

The boy fell into the pit at Aldeharhi village near Kurushetra on Friday evening. Rescuers lowered food, water, a light and oxygen to him on Saturday afternoon. They also kept a watch on Prince by using a close circuit television system.

Officials said the Army engineers planned to link their tunnel to the pit, originally made for a bore-well, so that Prince could be brought out through the tunnel.

Television channels beamed footage of the boy sleeping at the bottom of the pit that was captured through the CCTV system. Large crowds also gathered to watch the operation mounted to rescue the boy.

 

Same here iam watching it LIVE on the news channels, seems the kid is happy though
but there are thousands of people praying for him.

 

Yes the food i supplied every 90 minutes according to their records.

iam saying he is not like a normal child who would be totally tensed and only cried.
this kid seems to be very confident and knows everything whats going on.
Did you see his moments when the camera turns towards him and also when the food is sent to him.

Even i am following this on TV.

 

The name of this boy is Prince and it is his birthday today.But instead of celebrating it with his family,he is celebrating it in a deep pit in Kurukshetra in Haryana in North India. He fell into the pit while playing and has not come out till now.He is only 5 years old.The Indian army has been called in.

Edit--an update --He is close to being recovered as one of the members has pointed it out here.But 47 hours..shudder at the thought of a 5 year old kid being in a situation like that

very sad for him ..the army is trying his best and he is being provided with water / food / chocolates ..bt yes his cries was heart rendering .. 5year old and alone in a deep well for 40+ hrs ..bt hes lucky to survive ..just wishing him luck and according to latest news he should be out soon ( they say the process is in last stage ) .. Wish him luck guys .

Hey guys prince is out finally

 

The Guy is out ....

Imagine guys, a 5yr old child .... falls in a 53.ft ditch that's only 1 ft. wide!
He was in there for 50 hours ..... Everyone was soooo sad ....

Even people from abroad .. Americans ... Canadians ... Australians called up and expressed their wishes and prayed for the kid ....

He is finally out, Kudos to the military ... who got him out of the ditch without hurting the kid. The approach was silent and slow .. but steady

The military guys worked for 40+ hours non-stop! And dug a tunnel via a nearby well.....

Amazingly enough, the kid had his b'day yesterday! You can't imagine how happy people are right now! There are fireworks being lit, big poojas being held. A family even had a b'day cake ready for this guy. It was amazing as people called and cried on the phone!

Some person from CA called up and said, he and his wife saw this news on TV and ever since have been hooked up on to it. They didn't go for work nor did their chldredn go to college. It was amazing as when the kid cried, people cried when he smiled, people used to lighten up ...

It's a terrific feeling

 

I'm Happy for this guy. Hez got lot of patience. Great to see him out finally after 50 hours, deep from a 57 ft hell.
