Imo, vlogging (video blogging) stands a better chance to be a money-making thing than the old-school text blogging. There are a few differences between the two, but they are still very similar.
The most important thing in blogging/vlogging is that you need to have something really original and unique to offer to others, because the competition is too high everywhere
