    First point is the best. I believe submitting to all the popular bookmarking sites does work.

    I don't think manually adding your url to Google helps at all. Instead, just add your site to Google Webmaster Tools and submit a sitemap.

    there are no methods to guarantee that you will be indexed in 24 hours...

    I have had the best success with point #2..I've seen page's of mine indexed only hours after adding a sig link in the forums im most active at (put all together is a total of about 5k posts)

    It's great to be able to get site's and page's indexed so quickly!!

    There are many more ways to get indexed fast.

    Post an dummy classified ad in Craiglist.
    Put your link in Wikipedia, if it is related to the topic
    Participate in Yahoo Answer for quick index, jut put your link there

    Create a rss newsfeed and ping google and technorati. I have found the feedfinder takes just minutes after you ping it.

    I guess some people misinterpret getting indexed. (yes it happens to the best of us) getting you indexed is an easy task... getting ranked is another matter altogether. :)
