1. article marketing 2. forum marketing 3. viral marketing 4. advertising in Yahoo or Google email groups 5. use traffic exchanges
You quite obviously have clue what's really important, because that will always be unique quality content, tons of it. If you have that, then you don't even have to promote it.
Traffic exchanges are JUNK..the only good that possibly could come from it is raising your Alexa ranking from the traffic. All it does is waste bandwidth.
ya traffic exchange has a disadvantage that it is not a targeted advertising method so the quality of your traffic is not as good or as likely to buy your product but it does get people to see your website
[energetic] traffic exchange...... it is like exchanging links but on a different higher level. This may cost a bit more than exchanging or trading links but could be made cheaper because you get to earn credits and you can use those credits when viewing others traffic, while you earn credits when someone views yours...
I have avoided traffic exchanges up to now but what is the general consensus on them? Are they worth the time and if so which ones would be worth checking out? Thnx, D.
just join and do some surfing. If you find yourself looking at other people's sites, then put your site in. but if you find your mind wandering, then don't.
I dont think these traffic exchanges bring any valuable users to your site. Most of these 'schemes' are started for earning money out of visiting websites. like.. earn money to browse sites etc. People register their sites in this network, and in exchange they view/ visit other peoples sites, maybe just for a few seconds and then the next site comes up. I'm not really sure about this but thats what I think traffic exchanges are. Total crap!
