After our first post about the "5 Simple WordPress Plugins that will get you Traffic (part 1) " i decided to go ahead and wrap up the traffic plugin list for Wordpress and/or your website. If you use the following plugins along with the plugins explained in the earlier post then you will have one the best set of plugins to get natural, search engine traffic for your website. So, lets begin: 1) RSS Feed: Feeds are seriously one of the easiest ways to promote your website/ blog .It offers the feed reader the ability to view the most recent content from your website through a basic stripped down version of your site. There are a variety of formats available for feeds, but the RSS version seems to be the most common and popular and that’s why i decided to go with that format excerpt or full article formats. 2) Video Plugin: There are many benefits when it comes to using a blog for your video blogging purposes. When you post a YouTube video on your blog, you have the automatic capability of attracting search engine visitors based on how many keywords are used in your description. And this Video Plugin allows for simple video blogging of content hosted by A filter for WordPress that displays videos from myvideo.de, youtube, google video, Stage6, Brightcove, Aniboom, 123video.nl, MyspaceTV, Yahoo! Video, Veoh, Wandeo, Glumbert, Gametrailers, Gamevideos, LiveLeak, sevenload.de, clipfish.de, break.com, Metacafe, dailymotion.com, Vimeo, videotube, blip.tv, revver, IFILM, Tu.tv, grouper, Cellfish.com, Sumo.tv, Last.fm, Vsocial, teachertube, SlideShare. This the most comprehensive one i have seen so far. 3) KeyWord Tag: (if you have wordpress 2.0 or less) Tag Clouds are nothing more than a set keywords (i.e. Categories) given to the content with your website. Ultimate Tag Warrior is a multi-headed hydra of a plugin. It allows you to add tags either through the Write Post page in wordpress in a tag box, on posts using an AJAXy box, and in posts using special syntax from external editors. If you have the WordPress 2.3 annd up then you should already have this plugin built in and you are just fine just use it. 4) Subscribe to Comments: Email monitoring of comments is the line of text with a checkbox you see on many WordPress blogs in the comments form. It invites the visitor to subscribe to the comments from this blog post. When a new comment is made on the post, an email is automatically sent out, reminding them of their participation and interest in the blog post. While many people use this feature because they think it will encourage return visitors and increase traffic, the best use of the subscribe-to-comments WordPress Plugins is on sites hosting customer support and services. If a user is asking for help, support, or information, they will want to be notified of an answer if one is provided. It’s good customer service. 5) Other Blog Plugins: And the last one, make sure that you display your websites Technoratti ( at least ) and Alexa ranking. Some might say that at the beginning its not good but I would argue that , those ranking shows your readers that you are trying and you are proud to present your work. Having said all about those 10 traffic plugins, once again -the key is the "content" . Write often and write good and on top you use all these plugins, you bet you will have a successful website. IAnd, if you like this post then please DIGG or Stumble it . Thanks
Good stuff! BTW, how exactly do those Keyword Clouds help? And if you have All-In-One-SEO Plugin, do you need a Tag Cloud on your blog?
it works ( mostly from what i have seen ) 2 ways . 1) those tags works as keywords for search engines, especially google 2) and it a visual display for readers showing what topic/s is hot in that blog. yes, i will try to post every week. Also i am writing this from my experiences, so you know might take a while. So, stay tuned at the Gold seo site.
i will posting 1 more this weekend . Its will about be maxizing advertising without bothering readers. So stay tuned
