You don't have to answer all of the questions to win. The contest is going to be to design the home page as usual, but I have 5 more page designs (landing page, blog page etc) that will need to be designed after the home page What is a fair price or price range to pay the winning designer on a per additional page design after the contest is over? 2. I will probably want to add flash elements to accentuate the design. What should I budget for a flash guy to add these? or how can I spec that out in the design contest? 3. I will want to keep the home page file size relatively low, is that largely the designer or the programmer that can keep the page small? 3A. Is it possible to have a full screen size picture as your home page and keep the page small? 4. 1 - If the contest is just for the PSD (Winner wouldn't have to code his entry) A fair price would be 125-170$ for the homepage, And an additional 25$ for each subpage as Im assuming all the pages would look similiar to the homepage, Just the content that needs to be changed right? 2 - You can ask the designers you design a nice flash box (demo) where the actual flash will be placed, so that you can replace it with the flash when the design gets coded. 4 - You can get it coded to wordpress for just 50$, I know a guy who does, he's a real pro.
1. If it is only for .PSD files I think $100 is enough and for additional page it is $25..I think it is reasonable 2. Flash is something that really eats time and effort so I think you can add $35 for adding flash effect after the .PSD template has been created 3. Of course sizes can be small..just tell the designer the size that you want 3A. Possible 4. Mostly I see coding service site have to pay $200, but if you know someone who can coded cheap it would be good Thats all according to me, hope it helps
1.Generally, the budget can be extended to $150 to design a home page in PHP or HTML.For additional pages the bill can be put up to $30. If it just a PSD, it is easier to create and one can spend $100 for the home page and $20 for each additional page. 2.Flash box designing is a delicate thing and you need to spend atleast $40 to get a good design. 3.Programmer needs to do what ever the client wants. And its a simple thing to change the size of the page. 3a.Its possible.
Not really answering the question but, the thing you have to remember is the smaller you want the page the more likely it is youll lose image quality. The problem with giving accurate answers is it mainly depends on the type of site and the content you want placed on it etc
