I hate to do this, but I can't seem to get a straight answer via pm.

I bought PayHappy and then transferred the directory to a new domain name. Prior to purchase, I specifically asked whether this was a custom script:

This is definitely a script bought at another site...I've taken screenshots of the demo that is up on the template site...and the actual site that I bought....same exact admin panel, same exact wording, same files (most have naming conventions that could not be a fluke), etc....

Anyway, since I only paid $25, I'll keep it...though I am a little pissed. My question for Joseph (who maintains it is a custom script) is...is there any copyright that needs to remain entact on the site? or anything else that I should know?

Joseph probably wrote the script (thats what he means by custom).
..but he's using it / selling it on several sites i.e. not unique.

Well, that might be something you would want to find out. Take a look at the FAQ page. Take a look at Section 2, specifically.

 

Heres the story:

I purchased the site of a guy, made modifications and then took on the project of the smilie script so I sold.

I dont think you should leave in the copyrights due to the modifications done. Plus no modifications were added when purchased by me.
