Do a google search for web design companies, you will find it's in fact very cheap. Logo design alone is more with most companies.
Unfortunately I think you're probably pitching your services in the wrong place, maybe you didn't notice all of the $7 logo threads? Try Sitepoint, good services are a little more valued over there.
Guys I've seen 1 page web templates go for $250 on the templates section of this forum. $250 for 5 pages is really cheap! He's also including a logo and unlimited revisions!
Good services used to be valued here prior to the large influx of cheap peons willing to work for pennies on the dollar. It's really a problem.
