1. My minimum bid is too high! Why? 2. Why my keywords are not active yet? 3. Why can’t I see my advert? 4. Are there any cheap keywords left? 5. How much will it cost me to appear top?
1. There is no such thing as a minimum bid anymore. I believe you mean the First Page Minimum Bid. This is simply an estimate of what your bid should be to be on the first page. It's based on your QS. 2. Does it say Disapproved? I've actually never seen this message on a keyword (ads yes) but it means there's an issue with the Adwords policies. 3. Many reasons that range from: in-eligible ads/keywords no ads are ranking high enough (poor QS and/or low bid) budget not high enough to maximize ad serving your location and geographic settings day-parting 4. Cheap is a relative term. This is a system of supply and demand. It's advertisers who control the price. So don't expect to pay ten cents if your business is insurance. The best way to decrease your costs is to have higher QS. 5. Depends on your QS and the market value of the keyword. If you have a few advertisers with QS of 10 and they are bidding an average of $1, then you'll need to bid $1 too with a QS of 10. If your QS is 7, you'll need to bid a bit more.
